The limited edition was created to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the E.P. Carrillo brand that Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. founded with his daughter and son. Interestingly, the blend features a Nicaraguan binder from the country’s Jalapa region that E.P. Carrillo claims is 15-years-old.

Paul Garmirian celebrated the 25th anniversary of his eponymous brand in 2015. Nine years later, the line gets its third size, a belicoso.

This 6 3/4 x 54 torpedo vitola and its Natural wrapper counterpart were offered to stores who placed orders during a trade show in July 2023. The 97 part of the name references what would have been the 97th birthday of the company’s founder, the late José O. Padrón.

After a 12-year absence, the Nestor Miranda Grand Reserve returned earlier this year. The newest version of the limited edition line was released to commemorate Miami Cigar & Co.’s 35th anniversary.

While the Padrón Black is still one of the company’s most secretive lines, this year saw what is likely the most widespread release for the series to date. Retailers that placed orders during the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show were given the chance to purchase the Padrón Black PB-97.

For the first time in the history of the Viaje Birthday Blend, the company released two different cigars. Like every release since 2016, the 2024 Birthday Blends are belicosos, albeit slightly larger than the vitola that was previously used.

Six years after its last release, Warped’s La Colmena Black Honey returned to store shelves in 2023.

The follow-up to AGANORSA Leaf’s Rare Leaf Reserve line that debuted in 2021 is made with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, dual Nicaraguan binders and filler tobaccos grown in the Estelí and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua.

The latest flavored cigar to be named as an exclusive release for retail member of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) is part of Miami Cigar & Co.’s über popular Tatiana Groovy Blue blend.

A cigar with roots back to at least the early 2010s returned in 2020, and gets a redux after three years of rest.

The name comes from the German word for barber.
