Supreme Tobacco Haiti will not only be introducing a more affordable line but the company will also be showing off a couple of new products at the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show next week.

First, the company will debut Colors Bohekio, a four-vitola line with a blend made up of an Ecuadorian habano wrapper covering a broadleaf binder and a filler consisting of corojo and olor tobaccos, all of which are grown in Haiti. In an email, Beatrice Celestin, director of branding and marketing for Supreme Tobacco Haiti, told halfwheel that the name of the line refers to the colors that were incorporated into the original art depicting one of the Indigenous chiefs on the island of Haiti that the company uses for its logo.

There will be four different vitolas in the Colors Bohekio line at launch, each priced with an MSRP of $4 and packaged in bundles of 20:

  • Colors Bohekio Robusto (5 x 50) — $4 (Bundle of 20, $80)
  • Colors Bohekio Robusto Gordo (5 x 55) — $4 (Bundle of 20, $80)
  • Colors Bohekio Toro (6 x 50) — $4 (Bundle of 20, $80)
  • Colors Bohekio Churchill (7 x 50) — $4 (Bundle of 20, $80)

All four Colors Bohekio cigars are scheduled to ship to retailers in “mid-July.”

In addition, Supreme Tobacco Haiti will be showing off a fifth vitola in its inaugural Bohekio line that debuted at last year’s PCA Trade Show. According to Celestin, the new vitola will be a 6 x 55 box-pressed toro gordo priced at $12 each that will be packaged in boxes and bundles of 20 that should be showing up on shelves “this month.”

As is the case with the rest of the Bohekio line, the new box-pressed toro gordo will feature a blend incorporating a Dominican sun-grown habano wrapper covering a binder and filler made up of tobaccos grown in Haiti.

Finally, the company will have a new Bohekio Sampler box on display made up of all five vitolas in the Bohekio line. Celestin told halfwheel that the regular production sampler will have an MSRP of $50 and is scheduled to ship to retailers sometime in June.

The sampler will include one each of the following cigars:

  • Bohekio Robusto (5 x 50)
  • Bohekio Churchill (7 x 50)
  • Bohekio Robusto Gordo (5 x 55)
  • Bohekio Toro Gordo (6 x 55)
  • Bohekio Toro Gordo Box-Pressed (6 x 55)

The 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show takes place from July 9-12 in Las Vegas.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
