Southern Draw Cigars is finally ready to release its Cedrus Lancero.

The company has announced that it will begin taking orders for the Southern Draw Cedrus Lancero at the upcoming Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) show happening in Las Vegas at the end of the month.

The box-pressed 7 1/2 x 40 lancero uses an Indonesian Besuki wrapper over a habano 2000 binder from Estelí, Nicaragua. There are four fillers: Dominican piloto cubano and three from Nicaragua, cirollo 98 from Estelí, habano 92 from Quilali and corojo 99 from Jalapa.

It is priced at $10.20 and will come in boxes of 20.

“Southern Draw Cigars has been quietly enjoying this size for several years and plans to reveal the CEDRUS Lancero 7 1/2 x40 in celebration of our first-ever attendance at the Tobacco Plus Expo,” said Robert Holt, Southern draw founder, in a press release. “We have previously offered a lancero size in each of our core blends including the popular Rose of Sharon, Firethorn, Kudzu and Jacobs Ladder and this new addition will complement the CEDRUS line nicely.”

The company expects to begin shipping the cigar on April 15, with additional shipments in July and October. TPE 2020 takes place Jan. 29-31.

In addition, the company said it has no plans to increase prices in 2020. It says that it will absorb whatever added regulatory costs are needed and has plans for more expensive cigars in 2020, but it will keep existing prices the same.
