Last year, Sinistro Cigars debuted its La Fabrica Series with limited releases made at El Artista and La Aurora. Next week, Sinistro will begin shipping its newest release in the La Fabrica Series, El Burro.

Technically, it’s two different blends—El Burro is offered with either a Mexican San Andrés maduro or a Dominican corojo wrapper—offered in three sizes each. While the wrappers are different, the rest of the details remain the same: an American binder over fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua as well as Pennsylvania broadleaf. It is being made at Tabacalera El Artista in the Dominican Republic.

Each blend is offered in three sizes:

  • El Burro Corojo / Maduro Robusto (5 x 52) — $5.50 (Box of 20, $110)
  • El Burro Corojo / Maduro Toro (6 x 54) — $6 (Box of 20, $120)
  • El Burro Corojo / Maduro Presidente (7 x 58) — $6.50 (Box of 20, $130)

Unlike the original trio of La Fabrica Series cigars, the El Burro will come in boxes and is a regular production offering.

El Burro is being shown off at the 2021 Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE 2021) in Las Vegas and will begin shipping to stores next week.
