Sean Williams of El Primer Mundo will unveil a pair of new looks at this year’s IPCPR Convention and Trade Show.
Williams will formally unveil his new La Hermandad Costa Fuerte at the show, a full bodied regular production cigar that extends the La Hermandad line he launched at last year’s trade show. The new Costa Fuerte uses a five-year old Brazilian Bahia wrapper, Dominican Republic Olor binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, which Williams says includes Dominican Corojo 2006 and Criollo ’98 from Nicaragua.
It is being released in the same three sizes and vitola names and at the same price points as the original La Hermandad: a 5×50 Caballito (Little Horse), 6×52 Embajador (Ambassador) , and 6×60 Consejero (Counselor). The MSRP for La Hermandad Costa Fuerte is slated to be between $8-$9 per cigar, with all three sizes being shipped in wheels of 24 cigars. The cigars are being made at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic.
In addition, Williams will be in his new role of Director of Sales for PDR Cigars, a position he was recently appointed to following the announcement of El Primer Mundo’s distribution agreement with PDR Cigars.
