Over the years, imagery of Notre-Dame de Paris has been used on many different releases from S.T. Dupont. This year, there’s a new lighter and pen model that might be the grandest tributes to the iconic chapel to date.

S.T. Dupont’s flagship Haute Creation series is getting two new Notre-Dame models. The S.T. Dupont Le Grand Dupont Notre Dame de Paris takes the company’s Le Grand Dupont lighter, which has both double soft flames and a single-flame torch in one body, but transforms the look to look like the cathedral. Arguably, the most notable feature is a recreation of the rose window, which is done using lacquer.

As for the lighter, it’s made of red and white bronze that is then plated in silver. Both the lighter and pen show Notre-Dame’s spire, which fell during the 2019 fire. It comes with a base that features recreations of some of the gargoyles and strix that can be found throughout the building.

The base has a patina applied.

There’s also a pen that is quite similar: stained glass is created using lacquer. Like the lighter, the S.T. Dupont Notre Dame de Paris Pen is made of red and white bronze that is plated with silver.

Both pieces are priced at $16,950 each and are limited to just 88 numbered pieces.

Haute Creation products are made to order and typically carry five-, sometimes even six-figure price points. Once a Haute Creation order is placed, it typically takes around a couple of months for S.T. Dupont to produce and ship the purchased items.
