The third release of the Room101 Ichiban Series is headed to New York.

Doc James Cigars, which has locations in Mamaroneck and Shrub Oak, N.Y., will receive the Room101 Ranfla (6 1/2 x 30/50/19) later this month. Ichiban uses an Ecuadorian wrapper, Nicaraguan criollo 98 binder and Nicaraguan corojo 99 fillers.

Eight retailers will each receive an individual size of the blend. The Ichiban Tiburon went to Smokin’ Joe’s, while Cigar Realm received the Roxxo. Each size is limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

“It is my great honor to welcome the good folks from Doc James into our select family of Ichiban retailers,” said Matt Booth of Room101. “Both of their locations are some of my favorite stores to visit in the country and we are very proud to have joined forces with them for this bespoke series.”

Booth will be on hand for events beginning on Monday, May 18 at Trump National, May 19 at the Shrub Oak store and May 20 at the Mamaroneck location.

Room101 is produced at Oettinger Davidoff AG’s Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. factory in Danlí, Honduras and distributed by Davidoff of Geneva USA.

The cigar can be pre-ordered here.
