Rocky Patel has added eight new finishes to its popular Laser lighter, each representing one of the company’s popular cigar lines.

The single flame lighter is now available with the logos of the Royale, Fifty-Five, Special Edition, Vintage 2006, Java Maduro, Java Latte, Java Mint and Java Red. It brings the total number of finishes available for the lighter up to 23.

The Rocky Patel Laser Lighter debuted in April 2014, available in a single gunmetal finish. It measures 2 1/2 inches tall, 1 1/2 inches wide, and just under half an inch thick. To use the lighter, the lid is flipped up manually to start the flow of butane and activates a red laser contained within a recessed circle in the center of the lighter’s body. With a touch of the logo, the plane of the laser is broken and in turn sparks the ignition.

All of the new finishes are now shipping to retailers and retains the same MSRP as the original, $58. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
