Quesada Revamps Fonseca Classic Packaging

Quesada Cigars has announced that it has updated its Fonseca Classic line.

The blend remains the same—a Connecticut wrapper over Dominican fillers—though Miguel Nuñez, the company’s production manager, said the blend will have “more presence of flavors in the palate” due to a recent crop. The packaging has been updated with a Quesada logo, more modern feel and a large space, presumably for anticipated FDA warning labels.

“Us taking Fonseca and revamping it, marks the perfect representation of the torch being passed on to us, and we are happy to take Fonseca away from the past and on to its next chapter in this journey called Quesada Cigars” said Raquel Quesada, senior brand manager, in a press release.

Three of the four sizes are offered in boxes of 24: 5-50 (5 x 50), 10-10 (7 x 50),  8-9-8 (5 1/2 43). The 2-2 (4 x 40) will be offered in both boxes of 10 and 50. Quesada says the pricing remains the same: $5.56-9.08 per cigar.
