Puro Sabor, Nicaragua’s annual cigar festival, will take place Jan. 20-24, 2025. And if you are interested in going, you can now sign up to attend.
The week-long event will begin Monday, Jan. 20, in Managua, Nicaragua’s capital. On Tuesday, guests will visit Lake Nicaragua, the largest lake in Central America, and have lunch on an island in the lake. Wednesday will take the festival to Estelí, Nicaragua’s cigar capital, where dozens of factories will open their doors for tours.
In between visits, lunch will be hosted by a cigar company and the whole festival will attend, which includes representatives from more than two dozen Nicaraguan cigar manufacturers. A dinner is hosted each night, typically with some sort of theme. In between all of that are various rum and coffee tastings, lessons about Nicaragua’s history and plenty of conversations over cigars.
Puro Sabor concludes on Friday night with a closing gala dinner. On Saturday, attendees are then transported to the Managua airport.
Registration remains $2,500 for one person or $4,500 for two people who will share a hotel room. These prices include five nights of hotel rooms, meals and drinks from Monday through Friday, ground transportation, cigars, swag, entry to all events and group insurance.
The Puro Sabor Festival is hosted by the Cámara Nicaragüense de Tabacaleros (Nicaragua Tobacco Chamber), an organization made up of more than 25 cigar manufacturers in the country.
