Principle Cigars has released the 2023 version of its annual holiday-themed cigar, the Accomplice Bauble.

The cigar measures 4 1/2 x 60 with rounded heads and feet, which the company designed to be reflective of a holiday ornament. The blend is once again new as the company changes it every year, with this year’s features an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper, a Dominican H-192 Cuban-seed hybrid binder that has been aged for 16 years, and a filler made of two types of Dominican tobacco, along with tobacco from the U.S. and Peru. Pricing is set at $12 per cigar and $48 for a box of four cigars.

As with the previous releases, the cigars are produced by the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic. The company has not disclosed production numbers, other than to call it “tiny.”

The cigars are available via Principle’s retailers as well as the company’s website.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
