With the end of the year quickly approaching, many manufacturers are making decisions regarding pricing for 2025, and specifically if they will have to increase prices in the new year. Today, Perdomo informed its retailers that it will be implementing an increase due to increaed manufacturing costs.

The majority of cigars in Perdomo’s portfolio will see their MSRPs go up by 50 cents, though the price consumers see on shelves and at the register will ultimately vary on a state-by-state basis due to how cigar taxes are implemented. That 50-cent increase applies to the suggested retail prices of the 30th Anniversary, 20th Anniversary, Double Aged 12 Year Vintage, Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged, and Inmenso 70 lines. Most of the Perdomo Reserve Champagne Series is also getting the 50-cent increase, but the smaller Puritos vitola is only going up 25 cents, from $4.75 to $5.

The Perdomo Fresco line, a value-oriented line, is seeing its MSRPs go up by 30 cents. The robusto, which has the lowest price of the four sizes in the line, goes from $4.70 to $5, while the most expensive, the Torpedo, goes from $5 to $5.30.

Cigar companies typically adjust their prices once per year, with most companies choosing to do so in the first quarter of each year. The following is a list of companies that have announced their plans for a price increase for 2025 and will be updated as more announcements are made:

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
