This is my first year covering Rabbit Air, one of the few consumer-grade air filtration companies that markets to cigar smokers. It’s a product that is used, albeit as a secondary option, in our lounge at the halfwheel office, and I know Patrick Lagreid also uses it in Phoenix. Rabbit Air is also a company that I’ve been emailing with for a few years, but this marks the first time putting faces to the email address. It’s always nice to make that connection.
I don’t think the booth is new, but it is one of my favorite ones I’ve seen to date. The company uses air filter material for seating and its booth. It’s subtle but creative.
There were raffle tickets for a customized Rabbit Air unit that is being raffled off in the United Cigars booth. I didn’t enter and I still haven’t seen the unit, but I guess I’ll find out what it looks like when I edit Patrick’s United Cigars booth post.
Last month, Rabbit Air began shipping new covers for both its MinusA2 and the newer A3 units that depict the Statue of Liberty. These can be purchased for an existing unit, or you can buy a new unit with this cover. The covers are easily swappable, and I think it was swapped out at least twice while I was in the booth.
