The Rabbit Air A3, the most recent model of air purifier that can be found in numerous cigar shops and lounges, is now available in a white color option.

The A3 debuted in January 2021, and offered the biggest amount of room coverage—1,070 square feet—from the company among a host of upgraded features and options. While the body design was reworked to improve the unit’s air intake ability, the A3 maintained the company’s six-stage filtration system, which includes the BioGS HEPA filter that is designed to target the smallest and dirtiest particles through the use of an advanced and proprietary fiber material. There is also an activated carbon filter that reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors. The company says that the A3 offers more precise particle sensing while adding an automatic filter reset feature.

One of the primary upgrades that the A3 offers is more surface area for those filters, as well as more activated carbon. The A3’s filters do not use frames like the A2, which the company says makes replacement more convenient, as does labeling on the handle of each filter.

For ease of use, the A3 comes with both wifi and Bluetooth connectivity standard, which allows the user to both monitor air quality and control the device. There are apps available for both Apple and Android phones, and the A3 is compatible with Amazon’s Alexa system.

The Rabbit Air A3 is priced at $749.95 for either the original black or the new white color option, while each of the four designs in the Artists Series is priced at $769.95. Each of the design options measure 19.7 x 18.9 x 8.4 inches and weighs 20.3 pounds. The A3 includes a multi-orientation wall-mounting attachment, or it can be set on a table, the floor or other flat surface. Its operating noise ranges from 20.3 to 51 dBA depending on the setting, with 50 dBA often compared to the sound of a quiet conversation at home.

It also comes with a five-year warranty and 24/7 technical support.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
