PCA 2023: Dissident Cigars

The Dissident booth space is housed inside the Oveja Negra Brands booth, as it has been for the past three shows.

This makes sense, as Dissident cigars are made at the Fábrica Oveja Negra, though it is a separate brand owned by Cynn and Joshua Coburn.

In between talking to retailers and being photographed with fans, Cynn Coburn took moment to tell me about the new ReVolt limited edition cigar coming out soon.

Dissident ReVolt

The ReVolt is a toned-down version of the HOME blend. While the boxes aren’t on display here at the show, you can see the artwork on the box in the news article linked above. Coburn noted that this artwork was done by a fan of the brand, something which they want to continue doing for future releases.

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in.
