Zander-Greg’s booth this year has a new layout but appears to have pulled elements from the last couple of booth iterations to form its booth for 2022.

New white tables and chairs pop against the black and orange theme, giving the booth a refreshing look.

On the cigar side of things, I was able to catch up with Alex Berberian and Dean Parsons to get all the information about the new things coming from the family of brands under the Zander-Greg umbrella.

Casino Real Lancero

Though it wasn’t at the show and therefore not pictured above, the Casino Real line is adding a lancero to the line, giving it a thin vitola amidst its generally thicker ring gauges. The blend remains the same as the rest of the line.

  • Casino Real Lancero (7 1/2 x 40) — $6.19 (Box of 24, $148.56)

New EPIC Packaging

The core EPIC lines are getting new packaging. The boxes are carrying the coloring up to the lids to make it easy to tell at a glance which lines they belong to. The new packaging should be coming in November 2022.

EPIC Tubos

In addition to new packaging, all of the EPIC lines will be getting a 6 1/2 x 52 tubo release in 10-count boxes. Pricing is still to be determined and they are looking at a November 2022 release as well.

EPIC Police 299

Finally on the list is the EPIC 299, a new release that pays homage to Parsons’ time as a police officer in Canada where 299 was his badge number.

Brian Burt

I have been smoking cigars since 2005 and reviewing them as a hobby since 2010. Initially, I started out small with a 50-count humidor and only smoking one or two cigars a month. Not knowing anybody else that smoked cigars, it was only an occasional hobby that I took part in. In March of 2010, I joined Nublive and Cigar Asylum, connecting me with many people who also shared an interest in cigars. Reading what they had to say about brands I had never heard of, I quickly immersed myself in the boutique brands of the industry and it was then that cigars transformed from a hobby into a passion.
