Supply chain woes have been a constant refrain of this year’s trade show, though I actually think the cigar companies have it better than the cigar accessory companies. Last year, one of the things I noted was how few new cigar lighters and cutters were debuting at the trade show. Cigar Oasis—the company behind electronic humidifiers—has been affected probably more than any other company and Integra Boost explained that most of its new products are being limited by supply chain issues.

As such, no new items were displayed at the trade show. The company’s terpene infusers are on display at this trade show for the first time, but those are targeted for cannabis and alternative products like CBD. That said, even after I first saw the product at TPE 2022, Integra tells me supply chain issues mean it doesn’t have enough inventory to sell the products to other retailers, so for now, it remains a direct-to-consumer product, though the company would like to change that.

On the cigar side, I’ve been told that small changes are being made to the Integra Boost products that should make for a better experience. The company is still testing the products to see just how much better, so it didn’t given me metrics. That said, these updates are being done to the products in a stealth manner and the company is neither planning on branding the upgraded models differently nor asking consumers to pay an added price for the upgraded film models.
