PCA 2021: K by Karen Berger

After cigar industry veteran Enrique “Kiki” Berger passed away in 2014, his widow Karen Berger unveiled her own K by Karen Berger line at the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show two years later. That brand has since grown considerably and is featuring a number of new products during the 2021 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

The K by Karen Berger booth is big and spacious, with plenty of room to show off the company’s products, while still allowing for easy movement throughout. Although it was located near the back of the show floor, there never seemed to be a lack of customers milling around the multiple times I passed it every day and Karen was always easy to spot, dressed as she was in a traditional looking outfit with a large flower in her hair.

The biggest news from the company is a new limited edition line featuring a Cameroon wrapper from Africa.

One of three new lancero vitolas added to the company’s existing regular production lines. Unlike the rest of the vitolas in each of the lines that are sold in 10-count boxes, the lanceros are packaged in 20-count boxes.
