One of the original Patoro cigars will make its American debut next week.

The Patoro Gran Añejo Reserva Lancero, a 6 3/4 x 40 vitola, will be offered for sale in America for the first time next week. It uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. The company says the tobacco is aged for 4-8 years before the cigars are rolled.

Pricing is set at $18 per cigar and it will be sold in boxes of 20 and cabinets of 50. While there will only be 100 boxes of 20 available for the remainder of 2020, this is a regular production item that will be offered regularly by Patoro.

While this is the first time the cigar is being sold in America, it’s actually been around for nearly two decades. The Gran Añejo Reserva Lancero was one of the original seven Patoro cigars the company launched on its debut in 2001. Since then, the cigar has been sold in Switzerland, Patoro’s home market.
