At the 2021 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Patina Cigars will be releasing three new vitolas for its Maduro line, which debuted in March 2020.

The line, which has an undisclosed blend, will grow to five sizes with the addition of the Precipitation, Copper, and Bronze vitolas:

  • Patina Maduro Precipitation (4 x 50) — $8.95 (Box of 16, $143.20)
  • Patina Maduro Copper (6 x 46) – $10.95 (Box of 16, $175.20)
  • Patina Maduro Bronze (6 x 52) — $12.95 (Box of 16, $207.20)
  • Patina Maduro Rustic (5 x 52) — $10.95 (Box of 16, $175.20)
  • Patina Maduro Oxidation (6 x 56) — $13.95 (Box of 16, $223.20)

“The addition of these sizes to the Maduro line allow (sic) us to showcase this unique blend in new formats and to build on the strength of the initial release last year,” said Mo Maali, owner of Patina, via a press release. “We have some more exciting projects in the works, but I wanted to make sure to round out the Maduro offerings heading into PCA before introducing additional lines.

The Patina Maduro is produced at NACSA in Esteli, Nicaragua and will begin shipping to retailers within the next two weeks.

Patina also offers two other lines, the Patina Connecticut and Patina Habano, both of which are offered in five similar sizes.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
