The Palió PRO line, a trio of new higher-end lighters, is on its way to stores, as Quality Importers has begun shipping the Scorpius, Antares and Polaris.

While the Palió brand has been known most recently for providing value-forward lighters and cutters, often made out of plastic, the Palió PRO line offers a full-metal body that the company says is built to withstand the rigors of daily life, making it the best choice for an everyday carry lighter.

The Palió PRO Scorpius offers a large, angled, single jet torch, a fold-out 7.5 mm punch cutter and a 33mm (1.3 inches) long cigar enhancement poker. It is priced at $29.99 and offered in five colors: black, black and rose gold, red, blue, and gunmetal.

The dual-torch option in the Palió PRO line is the Antares, which offers a side-squeeze ignition and a large fuel tank. It is offered in five colors: black, gunmetal, blue, red, and silver, each of which is priced at $44.99.

The Palió PRO line also offers a triple-flame lighter called the Polaris,  an inline flame configuration. It features a pull-down ignition and a large fuel tank, and is priced at $49.99. It is also offered in five colors: black, black and rose gold, red, blue, and silver.

The Palió PRO line made its debut at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
