When you start naming off luxury cigar brands, chances are good that Arturo Fuente’s OpusX would be towards the top of that list. Likewise, if you started naming luxury cigar accessory brands, Elie Bleu would also be one of the top contenders. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that these two companies collaborated on a celebratory release for the 25th anniversary of the OpusX line.
The 88-count Elie Bleu humidor is emblazoned with the OpusX 25 logo on the lid, and sports a green, gold and brown color scheme that is continued on the bands of the Fuente Fuente OpusX 25 cigars. A total of 25 of the 7 x 50 Churchill cigars come with the humidor, though like most humidor releases, they actually ship in a separate box from the humidor itself.
If this beautifully lacquered humidor and limited edition cigars isn’t enough of the 25th-anniversary theme for you, Elie Bleu also has a matching ashtray, cutter and lighter to celebrate the release. These of course were not considered for the packaging awards, but are certainly worth mentioning as they round out what is an impressive release at number four on our list. — Brian Burt.

Unfortunately, that item did not qualify because none of the halfwheel staff have seen the humidor in person.
