Oz Family Cigar’s third regular production line is once again inspired by Tim Ozgener’s Mediterranean roots.

At next week’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Oz Family Cigars—previously the company was known as Ozgener Family Cigars—will preview Firsat, a new line that is slated to be the milder offering of the company. It will use an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars are made at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.’s Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic.

It will be offered in four sizes:

  • Oz Family Cigars Firsat F52 (5 x 52) — $12.25
  • Oz Family Cigars Firsat F54 (7 x 54) — $14
  • Oz Family Cigars Firsat F50 (6 x 60) — $14.50
  • Oz Family Cigars Firsat F55 (5 1/2 x 55) — $13.25

Firsat—the Turkish word for opportunity—joins Aramas and Bosphorus as part of the company’s core line. All three blends are made at Casa Carrillo.

Ozgener says the cigars will begin shipping to stores in April.
