After a brief tease a few weeks ago, the Ortega Serie D Black is now heading out to retailers for its formal debut. The cigar is the latest from Ortega Premium Cigars, and the strongest of the company’s portfolio according to owner Eddie Ortega.

Ortega Serie D Black

Serie D Black uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over Nicaraguan and fillers and is made at three sizes at My Father Cigars S.A. The cigar was originally scheduled to ship in June, was then shown at the 2014 IPCPR convention and trade show and began shipping last week.
