The Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada is now heading to stores.

Oliva Cigar Co. began shipping the latest size of its popular Serie V line today. As the name implies, the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada pays tribute to a 135th anniversary, though it’s not the 135th anniversary of Oliva Cigar Co., which hasn’t celebrated its 30th birthday yet. Instead, the cigar honors the year that Melanio Oliva first grew tobacco in Cuba’s Pinar del Río, the start of Oliva as a tobacco family.

As for the cigar, it’s a unique 6 1/2 x 54 perfecto that has a parejo cap but a unique tapered foot. It uses the same blend as the regular Serie V: V: an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua.

It has an MSRP of $10 per cigar and is limited to 15,000 boxes of 12 cigars, with the cigars displayed in a fan-like shape.
