Oliva Cigar Co. is the latest company to get into a growing category of cigars that are noted for costing hundreds of dollars per piece.

It will do so with the Oliva Serie V Roaring Twenties Super Limited Edition, a 6 x 60 double perfecto, that will have an MSRP of $300 per cigar, according to a report from Cigar Aficionado. Like the rest of the Serie V line, it will use an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua.

Beyond the price, where the cigar sets itself apart from the rest of the Serie V line is its packaging. It uses different bands from the rest of the Serie V line, half the cigars are covered in gold foil, and the boxes are made by Daniel Marshall, the California-based humidor maker. According to that report, there will be 300 boxes of 10 cigars made; 200 of the boxes will go to the U.S.

“We’re so excited to present this cigar to the world,” said says Fred Vandermarliere, ceo of Vandermarliere Family of Cigars—the parent company of Oliva—in a press release. “The idea was born before a worldwide pandemic took people’s freedoms away. I see it much more as an artwork than a product to smoke… Especially when such an ode contributes to a better future for the local communities that make it all happen.”

As the name implies, the cigar is a tribute to the Roaring 20s and images of the packaging show designs that harken back to the 1920s. A press release from the company says, “All revenues of this ‘Roaring 20’s’ limited edition project go the Oliva Helping Hands Foundation,” which helps provide schooling for children in Nicaragua.

Update (June 15, 2023) — Added information from the press release including that all revenues of this cigar will go to the Oliva Helping Hands Foundation.
