Oliva’s Year of the Snake will be a much larger release than last year’s Year of the Dragon cigar, but it’s still not coming to the U.S. The new release is already on sale at some international stores.

Gurkha will once again celebrate the Lunar New Year with a trio of cigars produced by three other companies. Additionally, Gurkha is helping raise funds for Folds of Honor with the Volition America line.

The Oliva Advent Calendar returns in near identical form to the 2022 and 2023 versions. Inside are 25 cigars, including the elusive Serie V Lonsdale.

The 7 x 54 gran torpedo is the first TAA exclusive in Oliva’s history. It will head to stores in November.

The promotion lighters were distributed between August 2022-July 2024. They do not have a child safety lock and didn’t go through the CPSC child safety testing protocol, which has led Oliva to recall them.

The second part of Oliva’s humidor trilogy with Elie Bleu will focus on its new tobacco processing hub, Las Mesitas. Only 124 humidors have been made, with the final part of the trilogy due next year.

Following up on an idea hatched during the COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020, four cigar companies will be traveling to 16 cities around the country to sell cigars to local retailers. While some of the stops take place at cigar stores, these are not consumer events.

For the first time in its history, Oliva is making a cigar in honor of Chinese New Year.

The name is different, but the cigar is the same.

Effective Jan. 15, 2024, Oliva’s lines will increase by either 5 percent or 7 percent.
