If you read the news that Oliva was releasing a 6 x 60 version of the company’s Serie V Melanio and were disappointed the cigar was not heading to the states, you only have to wait another month.

Ian Hummel, national sales manager for Oliva Cigar Co., tweeted that the company would begin to sell the Serie V Melanio Double Toro in the U.S. He told halfwheel Oliva expects the cigar to be on sale in January and it will be a regular production item.

Last month, the company sent 500 boxes to Europe, where the cigar carried a price tag of over $30 per cigar in some markets. Hummel told halfwheel pricing is still being determined.
