The smallest New World Size will only be available through Cigar Marketplace.

A.J. Fernández will send a new 4 x 36 New World Tin vitola to Cigar Marketplace, an online B2B platform where retailers can order cigars from a virtual wholesaler. The blend remains a Nicaraguan puro with dual binders from Jalapa and Ometepe and fillers from Condega and Estelí.

Starky Arias, founder of Cigar Marketplace, told halfwheel pricing is still being finalized, but he expects the cigars to retail for $27.74 for a tin of six cigars. They will be sold to retailers in sets of five 6-count tins, i.e. 30 cigars.

“This is one of my favorite cigars, can’t be more thankful with AJ for his friendship and the opportunity he is giving to Cigar Marketplace,” said Arias in a press release.

Arias used to work for A.J. Fernández as the company’s marketing director before launching Cigar Marketplace in 2018.

This is the first exclusive for Cigar Marketplace. Arias said that the company will have samples and preorders available at next week’s TPE 2020 trade show, which takes place Jan. 29-31 in Las Vegas.
