This year marks the 50th anniversary of Martinez Cigar Factory, which rolls cigars inside of its store at 171 W. 29th Street in Manhattan.

To mark the occasion, the company will introduce the Martinez 50th Anniversary, a 5 1/2 x 50 robusto extra that uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

The MSRP is set at $14 per cigar and it will be sold in boxes of 10 cigars. While many anniversary cigars are limited editions, this is a regular production addition to the company’s portfolio.

Martinez showed off the 50th Anniversary to retailers at last month’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas. It expects to ship the cigars in June. While you can buy the company’s cigars directly by visiting its New York City store, Martinez also sells its cigars to other retailers.
