Pacific Cigar Ltd., the distributor of Habanos S.A. products in the Asia Pacific region, and Hong Kong-based auction house Madison Auction have launched a new joint venture cigar auction platform.

It will offer Madison Auction members and PCC members the opportunity to put their personal cigar collections up for auction. Potential buyers will be able to participate by invitation only, starting with Madison Auction members and PCC members from around the world.

The first auction is currently scheduled to take place near the end of the first quarter of 2022.

Madison Auction primarily serves collectors from the Asia Pacific region, but has started expansion into Europe and the United States. While fine wines are its core offering, it has also expanded into premium spirits and cigars, with plans to add more products in the near future. For Pacific Cigar, this represents a new territory as they seek to offer this new service to support their members.

Those interested in participating in the first auction are invited to contact Madison Auction or Pacific Cigar Ltd.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
