The latest auction of rare and vintage Cuban cigars hosted by UK-based C.Gars Ltd. is now live.

The September auction features 350 lots up for grabs, including 13 lots of Cuban-made Davidoffs and four lots of Cuban-made Dunhills. A number of Edición Regional, Edición Limitada, Reserva and Gran Reserva lots are also in this season’s batch. Among the featured lots is a Ramon Allones 225th Anniversary of Hunters & Frankau Humidor with an opening bid of £7,500, approximately $9,375.

Three lots are opening at £7,000: a 50-count cabinet of Ramon Allones Allones A, a 50-count cabinet of Romeo y Julieta Vitola De Lujo No.9, and a 50-count cabinet of Partagas Orgullosos. However, the auction also contains some more reasonably priced lots, including some lots as low as £20 for a trio of Bolivar Petit Bolivar cigars from the 1970s.

The auction is scheduled to close on Sept. 22.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
