The Lotus Group is now shipping four new lighters to retailers.

The Lotus Blaze is a triple torch flame lighter that includes a single action ignition and a fuel window that has an MSRP of $39.95. There are five different color options available—black, blue, burgundy, green and orange—and the metal housing of the lighter is built with a rubberized grip and an 8mm punch cutter that extends from the side.

In addition, the company is shipping the Lotus Armor, a triple torch flame lighter made with a metal housing and mesh grip that includes a cigar rest built into the cap. The lighter also includes a fuel window and an 8mm punch cutter that extends from the bottom of the lighter. There are three different exterior options—black, copper and gunmetal—all with the same $39.95 MSRP.

Lotus has also released two different lighters under its more affordable Vertigo brand, the first of which is a single flame torch named Rave that is made with a rubberized exterior, a fuel window, a large flame adjuster and a carabiner attachment. The single-action ignition lighter is only available in black and has an MSRP of $11.99.

The final lighter is the King, a black triple-flame desktop option that is made with a cigar rest built into the cap, a fuel window and an 8mm punch cutter that extends from the bottom of the lighter. In addition, the all-metal lighter includes a large flame adjuster and comes packaged in a Vertigo gift box, all at an MSRP of $39.99 each.

During a conversation at the 2024 PCA Convention, Rosemary Sharp, president of the Lotus Group, told halfwheel that all the new lighters are shipping to stores.

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
