The wait is almost for the newest Litto Gomez Diez Small Batch.

In December, La Flor Dominicana expects to begin shipping the Litto Gomez Diez Small Batch No. 6, the latest version of the company’s flagship line. It will measure 6 3/4 x 52—the same size as the No. 3 and No. 5—and use Dominican tobacco throughout, including pelo de oro wrapper.

According to Tony Gomez, Small Batch No. 6 will be limited to 250 boxes of 105 and pricing is expected to be similar with the rest of the series. The most recent version had a suggested retail price of $19 per cigar.

Small Batch began in 2006 with the company using wrapper that it grew for the first release. Because of the yields, there was only enough wrapper for a small amount of cigars, hence the name. Since then, Small Batch has been reserved for special vintages of prized tobaccos grown by La Flor Dominicana.

While the new release carries the No. 6 name, it’s actually the seventh Small Batch release, the company released two versions of the No. 4.
