Les Fines Lames has announced 14 new versions of its T100 wearable cigar cutters will be shown off during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show later this week.

Like the larger and less intricate Le Tag T135 that were released late last year, the T100 is a double guillotine cigar cutter made out of surgical-grade stainless steel and assembled in Thiers, France. However, the T100 can only cut cigars up to 70 ring gauge compared to 90 ring gauge for the T135.

In addition, each T100 is made up of two separate pieces attached to a chain: the back “tag” is the single guillotine cutter made with 14c28n steel, while the front “tag” is an ornamental piece made in the same size as the cutter featuring a different artistic pattern or design. Les Fines Lames says the look of the wearable cutter was inspired by the design of a set of dog tags, and as with a set of real dog tags, the cutter is designed to be worn around the user’s neck via a chain.

In an email, Fabien Kerneis, social media brand content manager for Les Fines Lames, declined to give individual prices for each T100 model to halfwheel, although he did confirm that the starting MSRP will be $258.

There will be eight different gold cutter designs:

  • Le Tag T100 Almendron Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Burn Them All Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Cuba Flag Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Fan Your Flames Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Leaves Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Neo Camo Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Omnia Vanitas Gold
  • Le Tag T100 Rise From The Ashes Gold

There will also be six different silver designs:

  • Le Tag T100 Cuba Flag Silver
  • Le Tag T100 Fleur de Lys Silver

According to the press release, all 14 versions of the Le Tag T100 cutters will be shown off at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place March 23-25, and are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers in May.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
