Smoking on county property in Lenawee County could become a thing of the past. The southern Michigan County is exploring a proposal by the Health Board that would see smoking banned on all county property, including parks.
No proposal has been formally submitted, but the idea has received some support and a draft is expected at an upcoming meeting.
Lenawee County has a population of around 100,000, it is located on the Michigan-Ohio border, roughly 60 miles southwest of Detroit.
