The annual limited edition from L’Atelier Imports is off to stores. The company has begun shipping the L’Atelier Extension de la Racine ER14, the second cigar it has offered exclusive to retailers who attend the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

As for the cigar itself, it’s a 6 1/8 x 52 torpedo that features the same Nicaraguan sun grown criollo wrapper and Nicaraguan filler blend as last year’s 5 7/8 x 52 robusto. Pricing is set at $9.50 per cigar and it is once again sold in boxes of 20.

Racine, which features a red version of the typical L’Atelier band, is offered to encourage retailers to not only attend the show, but place orders with L’Atelier Imports at the annual IPCPR trade show. The Racine was one of four new product introductions the company made at the July trade show.

The company has already shipped the Surrogates Satin Glove and L’Atelier LAT Selection Spéciale extensions, meaning only the 4 1/2 x 38 five-packs, which L’Atelier will offer in each of its four core lines, are left to ship.

Racine is made at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Update (Nov. 14, 2014) — The original version of this posted listed the Racine ER14 as measuring 6 1/2 inches, it in fact is 6 1/8 inches.
