First, Pete Johnson posted that L’Atelier Imports’s La Mission L’Atelier line would be getting a new toro vitola as part of a new fresh pack sampler. Not long after, he revealed that a total of nine vitolas between the Tatuaje and L’Atelier Imports portfolios would be getting a new 6 x 50 toro vitola as part of two samplers he is planning on releasing this summer.
Beyond the La Mission de L’Atelier line, the vitola is coming to the following lines:
- Tatuaje Selección de Cazador (Brown Label)
- Tatuaje Verocú
- Tatuaje Havana VI
- Cabaiguan Guapos
- Nuevitas Estelí
- Surrogates Bone Crusher
- L’Atelier Selection Speciale
- Tatuaje Negociant
The new sizes are being released via a pair of fresh pack samplers, one containing a more medium profile and the other a stronger selection. The medium sampler will contain the Havana VI, Cabaiguan Guapos, Tatuaje Negociant, Nuevitas Estelí and L’Atelier Selection Speciale. The stronger sampler will have the Tatuaje Selección de Cazador, Tatuaje Verocú, La Mission L’Atelier and Surrogates Bone Crusher, along with a Fausto, which already had a toro vitola in its regular production offerings.
Johnson is planning to have the samplers available this summer, potentially releasing them at the PCA Convention & Trade Show that is scheduled for July 9-13. He said pricing for each sampler will be $35, before taxes.
Update — This story has been updated after additional information about the samplers was announced.
