Lampert Cigars has launched two new cigars that are only being sold at stores that are part of the company’s new Lampert Gold Retailer program.
The Lampert Gold Retailer is a way to reward some of the company’s top retailers. In the U.S., the program is starting with 10 retailers. As part of the program, the stores are able to purchase two exclusive cigars, both of which have been aged for more than one year after rolling at the Tabacos de Costa Rica factory.
The Lampert Limitada Salomones measures 7 1/2 x 58 while the Lampert Limitada A is a 9 1/4 x 48 parejo. Both cigars use a three-year-old Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a five-year-old binder and fillers aged for seven years. Both the binder and filler(s) are undisclosed.
The Salomones has an MSRP of $30, while the Limitada A has an MSRP of $45. Production is limited to 5,000 Salomones and 1,000 As.
The ten retailers who have access to the cigars are:
- Cedar Room (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
- Cigar Pointe (San Antonio)
- En Fuego (Henderson, Nev.)
- Helios Cigar Lounge (Las Vegas)
- Helios Cigar Lounge (Riverside, Calif.)
- Humidor of Lisle (Lisle, Ill.)
- Luxury Cigar Club (Cottonwood, Ariz.)
- Sir Louis Cigars (Wilbraham, Mass.)
- Small Batch/MAXAMAR Ultimate Cigar (Orange, Calif.)
- Smoke Cigar Lounge (Philadelphia)
The company says that the cigars for the 2022 release are already rolled in aging and that it plans to release half the production in July and the other half in December.
Update (Jan. 10, 2022) — As noted below, there are 10 retailers part of the program, not nine as originally stated in the press release.
