Following a soft launch in October, La Flor Dominicana is finally shipping its 25th anniversary cigar to stores nationwide.

The La Flor Dominicana 25th Anniversary is a 7 x 52 Churchill that uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Dominican binder and Dominican fillers.

It is priced at $18 per cigar and sold in boxes of 25. The company says the release is limited, though it is not disclosing production numbers.

Longtime fans of the brand will know that while the company touts 1994 as its start date, it’s actually the beginning of when owners Litto and Ines Gomez began in the cigar industry, though that was with a different company. Gomez’s first cigar was called Los Libertadores, which was started with another partner in 1994. Two years later—after disputes with their partner—the Gomez family opened La Flor Dominicana.
