One of the most ambitious La Aurora cigars in the company’s 114-year history has begun shipping.

It’s called the La Aurora Reserva Especial 2008 centered around the 2008 crop, which the company’s claims was a noted one for the Dominican Republic’s Cibao Valley. Around those fillers are Brazilian and Nicaraguan fillers underneath Ecuadorian Sumatra tobacco for the binder and wrapper.

The cigar is offered in a single 6 1/4 x 52 belicoso size. Pricing is set at $27 per cigar and it is limited to 500 boxes of 10.

La Aurora is distributed by Miami Cigar & Co. in the U.S.
