The latest version of the La Aurora Puro Vintage has begun shipping.

Members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) are getting the first opportunity to sell the cigars. Jason Wood—vp of Miami Cigar & Co., La Aurora’s U.S. distributor—told halfwheel that the cigars began shipping to TAA retailers last week and will head to retailers nationally by the end of this month.

La Aurora Puro Vintage 2005

The Puro Vintage 2006 uses an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper, Brazilian binder and tobaccos from the Dominican Republic’s Ciabo Valley, Brazil and Nicaragua.

It’s limited to 1,500 boxes of 18 cigars. The cigars will retail for $18.62 or $335 per box.

This is the fourth release in the Puro Vintage series. It was previewed at ProCigar 2015.
