At this year’s Procigar festival in the Dominican Republic, La Aurora gave attendees an all-new cigar: the La Aurora Hors d’Age.

The company says the express means “beyond time” and that makes sense given the tobacco being used: it’s all from 2006. As for that tobacco, the wrapper and binder are both from Ecuador, the fillers are from Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

It’s being offered in a single 6 x 54 toro extra size, packaged in boxes of 15. Pricing is set at $20 per cigar and production is limited to 500 boxes.

Miami Cigar & Co., La Aurora’s U.S. distributor, says it expects to ship the cigar in September.
