At this month’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Kafie 1901 will show off its first sweet-tipped cigars.

Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip is a brand that contains three different blends, each offered in the same two sizes. Kafie is not disclosing the details of the blends, though all cigars are made at the La Aurora Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic, using tobaccos that the company says have been aged 4-5 years. There are three different wrapper options: Connecticut, Habano Maduro and Habano Natural.

  • Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip Robusto (5 x 50) — $7.90 (Box of 20, $158)
  • Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip Toro (6 x 50) — $8.30 (Box of 20, $166)

“During my extensive travels throughout the United States, I’ve been frequently asked about our offerings for individuals that enjoy sweet cigars,” said Dr. Gaby Kafie, founder of Kafie 1901, in a press release. “While technically we haven’t ventured into this territory, we believe it’s time to explore new horizons and cater to the diverse preferences of our consumers… We’re incredibly excited to introduce this new segment to our portfolio, confident that it will broaden our presence in the market.”

Liga de la Casa has been part of the Kafie portfolio as a bundle cigar. The new Liga de la Casa Sweet Tip will be shown off at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place March 23-25 in Las Vegas, and is expected to begin shipping in April.
