Javier Estades Extends CAA Chairmanship Through 2020
Javier Estades, president of Tabacalera USA, will be the chairman of the Cigar Association of America (CAA) for another year.
The CAA is one of three main cigar trade groups. Unlike the Premium Cigar Association and Cigar Rights of America, CAA is made up of both premium cigar manufacturers and mass market cigar companies.
Estades’ tenure as chairman began in FY2016. Last year, the organization amended its bylaws so that Estades could serve another year, the bylaws were once again amended this year.
As the head of Tabacalera USA, Estades oversees Altadis U.S.A., JR Cigar and Casa de Montecristo.
