It is the second trade show for Alex Hirsch and his Evil Genius Cigars, which debuted last year with Black Chapel and White Chapel. This year, Evil Genius brought a medium-bodied release to the trade show to go along with the other two lines the company produces at La Aurora.

Evil Genius Time Machine

Time Machine
The new line uses a Nicaraguan habano wrapper, Nicaraguan corojo binder and Fillers from Cameroon and the Dominican Republic, which Hirsch characterized as two ligeros and one seco leaf. It’s offered in five sizes: Corona (5 1/4 x 42, $6.50), Robusto (5 x 50, $7.25), Lonsdale (6 1/2 x 42, $7.60), Toro (6 x 50, $7.75) and Churchill (7 x 50, $8.50).

Four of the sizes are regular production, while the Lonsdale is limited to around 1,100 cigars. Hirsch said if there was significant demand, the company would produce another batch, but wasn’t sure as of now. Each of the sizes are offered in 20-count boxes as while as 24-count bundles for retailers who want to display the cigar in trays.

Evil Genius expects Time Machine to ship by the end of August.
