Illusione’s international expansion is taking a big step forward. The Reno, Nev.-based cigar brand has announced that it has signed a distribution deal with Oettinger Davidoff AG to have its cigars distributed in a variety of European countries.

Davidoff will distribute the company’s cigars in Belgium, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. It will begin with focus on Illusione’s Epernay and Fume d’Amour lines, though Illusione’s full portfolio will eventually be available in those countries.

Illusione is also distributed in six other countries by other distributors, as well as the United States. The company says that it is planning on distribution for at least four other countries.

“The Davidoff brand and company are an organization that I’ve admired for years,” said Dion Giolito, Illusione’s founder and president. “Their world-wide representation and global distribution of premium cigars is unparalleled, and without equal. Illusione Cigars is grateful to be a part of their movement. We believe that we can fill a niche in their portfolio, and in turn, enhance the presence of both companies respectively.”
