HVC’s new La Rosa 520 Rare of Rare will mark a number of firsts for the company.

It’s the first time the company is using Dominican tobacco in a blend, the first time it’s using medio tiempo in a blend, and the first time it will be making cigars in the United States. The HVC La Rosa 520 Rare of Rare is a 6 x 52 belicoso that uses an Ecuadorian Sumatran wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano binder and Dominican criollo 98 and medio tiempo fillers from Estelí, Nicaragua. It will be rolled at El Titan de Bronze in Miami.

With an MSRP of $20 per cigar, it will also be the most expensive cigar the company has ever sold. It is limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.

HVC is showing the cigar off at this week’s TPE 2022 in Las Vegas but the La Rosa 520 Rare of Rare won’t begin shipping until late March.
