In addition to the new Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf—yes, that’s the name—there will be a new size of the Hot Cake Golden Line, the lighter version of the hot cake line.

The new size is the HVC Hot Cake Golden Line Half Corona, a 3 1/2 x 44 petit corona. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. This is the fifth size for the line—joining the four vitolas that launched last year—and one that HVC says required adjusting the blend.

The MSRP is set at $4.80 per cigar and the cigars will come in boxes of 25 cigars.

HVC says it will show off the new Half Corona to retailers at this week’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, though the company doesn’t expect the cigar to ship until late April.
