Howard G Cigars is now shipping its golf-themed creation that debuted during the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

Each 18-count box of Perfect Round actually contains two different 7 x 52 Churchill blends, both of which are made with the same filler and binder tobacco from the Dominican Republic. The Front Nine cigars are covered with a Dominican Connecticut-seed shade wrapper, while The Back Nine blend incorporates a sun grown habano wrapper that is also grown in the Dominican Republic.

The company has not disclosed which factory is making the cigars.

According to Wikipedia, a perfect round in the sport of golf refers to “a round of eighteen holes where all holes were played on average at one under par.”

Pricing is set at $16 per cigar and $250 for each 18-count box.

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
